More information:
The Angels Uniform Sale featured some of Angels' vast stock of both military and civil uniform items, selling a huge quantity of uniform clothing, helmets and headgear and leather and webbing equipment. In the main these were real pieces dating from the first half of the twentieth century onwards although some of the earlier period pieces were reproduction, created for specific films. With very few exceptions, everything here had been used on a film or TV production at some time.
Pieces on offer included 14-18 style British "tommy" tunics, WW2 battledress and British, Russian and French camouflage, hundreds of kepis from different French organisations as well as French, US and British webbing equipment. There were also many types of civil uniforms, police, fire brigade and railways. Other gems included M1 steel helmets used on Saving Private Ryan, boxes of Garrand belts and 08, 37 and 58 pattern British webbing pieces.

A great day well excuted by friendly staff, security and a speedy check out process! Brilliant!
A real shame I had to dash off.
I managed to get what I wanted and that was an American Helmet from "Saving Private Ryan". I also managed to get a beautiful German black coat for £ 20. An absolute bargain !!
I would definately entertain another sale for the leftovers...
All the very best !
Joey.
