The Angels New Entrant Wardrobe Assistant Trainee Scheme
Supported by the Skillset Film Skills Fund and Film London.
The Angels Wardrobe New Entrant Training Scheme was an 18 month structured, work-based training programme for prospective freelance wardrobe assistants in film that ran between 2006 and 2007.
What is a Wardrobe Assistant?
Wardrobe Assistants are members of the wardrobe/costume department, which is responsible for providing both made and hired costumes.
Wardrobe Assistants main duties include: dressing artists; standing by to maintain costumes between takes; continuity; altering and repairing costumes; packing and unpacking costumes. In a Costume house, the role runs parallel with that of a Costumier.
